After 24 hours of staying up, the surviving staff members pose for one final picture. It's 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12. Who's left? (Click on picture for a larger image.)

The 27th WBFH/March of Dimes Spring Celebration went into the record books as another successful event.

The Spring Celebration broadcast reaches back to the very first year that WBFH signed on the air. At the time, the marathon went on one hour for every calendar year. The first year, 1977, had WBFH on the air for 77 hours, raising money for the March of Dimes.

This year's total money raised was nearly $800.

Students participate every year by visiting local schools to solicit money. These staffers are hanging out at Lahser high school. (Click on picture for a larger image.)

Walking for the
March of Dimes

Staffers participate in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica event on Saturday, April 26th.

It's later than anyone thinks as the broadcast continues through the wee hours of the morning.
