Biff air personalities are on their summer break right now. DJ Otto Mation will continue to play the Best of the Old, the Best of the New all summer long. Regular shows will return to the air when school resumes. The Biffalo is on vacation at the FM Dude Ranch in the Federation of Micronesia. Drive safely!
The Biff sponsored one of the 18 holes at the MAB Foundation Golf Scramble July 16. This golf event was a fundraiser for the Foundation which presents student scholarships and performance awards to high school and college broadcasters in the state. The Scramble was at The Inn at St. Johns in Plymouth Michigan. Biffer Cameron Billes was a volunteer for the event and Pete Bowers was there to help out where needed.
Pete Bowers was elected to the Board of Directors of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation July 15. He will be serving a three year team on the MAB Foundation Board and will be on the BCBC Committee.
Congratulations to the 11 Biff seniors who graced the Bloomfield airwaves for the last few years: Kevin Furlong, Ryan Bloom, Patrick Garretson, Josh Loney, Josh Gordon, Drake Deitch, Alan McGee, Robert Berman, Chad Shepard, Alex Scharg and Jesse Haji-Sheikh. This group of talented young broadcasters leave the Biff after having won a total of five national and 46 state broadcasting awards.

We need your help!
Support local radio by taking action against legislation
that could kill local radio as you know it.
The performance tax could bankrupt local radio stations
and give giant foreign-owned record companies a bailout.
It's a bad idea that will happen unless
you speak out against it. Learn more at www.noperformancetax.org.
Don't send Michigan money overseas to big record companies. Protect radio jobs in Michigan. Keep Michigan money in Michigan.
